Well I have managed to get 760 miles out of my 1.9 TDI BXE engine saloon just before the red light came on to refill her up again. thats the best I have done sticking to all speed limits and doing a max speed of 70 on motorways obviously. the stupid Electro parking brake, deer to fix more to go wrong as i have had the garage to replace one calliper allready. stick to the traditional handbrake then the car would be perfect IMO

The mileage is 141,500 and I have to go over bloody speed bumps every day to work . So that wears it out more. I go very slow over them oh and year is 2006.

My car failed the mot on failed bushes. Was quoted £160 for a new wishbone arm and fitted. ECP THE ARM alone is £113.00 so not bad price is it. I don't have the time do fit it myself. Don't look to bad to do in the Haynes manuel

well have managed to release the bonnet as got the mrs to lean on the bonnet when i pull the handle by the foot well. Have sprayed it with loads of wd40 for a temp measure. Next is buy some universla grase and slap lots of that on it.

What do people think of this engine oil. for my 1.9 tdi b6 BXE engine. I have been using ECP oil but they dont list the oil i normally get and the nex one to it is just to deer even with the discount code. I know your from up north but I live near Pompey and I had couple of quotes to carry out a cambelt in BXE engine code cambelt and waterpump sorry.
