Hi guys,
I have a 2009 Passat CC and have lost the locking wheel nut
Any ideas how I can trace the code for the original and/or get a replacement? I tried VW but they're were not very helpful at all! It is the original wheel nut that came with the car from factory...

Double Din Pics!
Hi all,
Anyone got any pics of a double din headunit in their Passat CC or similar?
Just want to get an idea of the difference between the standard kit and the aftermarket units

Re: Aftermarket OEM Headunit
In a Passat CC dude, the feedback is good on this model but still not sure on the functionality etc.
Plus I sent them a few questions and they replied with some random sh*t

Re: RNS 510 Headunit
Thinking about it, I already have an audiocontrol unit in the cupboard from the B5, will have to pull this out and see if it would work with the standard headunit!

RNS 510 Headunit
I've just bought a Passat CC and have the RCD510 headunit as standard, which I am really impressed with. However, I have an itch to move my old sub and amp into the CC, which would ideally mean upgrading the headunit to something with a dedicated pre-out. Does anyone know if the RNS510 has a pre-out...

Re: Looking to Buy a Passat CC
Nice thanks mate. Will be looking to keep it standard for now (he says) but have already seen a coilover kit if I decide to take the plunge!
The reviews on the CR engine are really good and mpg reviews even better, so think that the one we are seeing tomorrow could be purchased!!

Looking to Buy a Passat CC
Hi guys, Been a while since I've been on here... but selling the B5 and looking for a Passat CC, probably a GT tdi 140. Does anyone have any guidance/advice/experience of the cc? The reviews seem to all agree that it's a good looking car, but there are some questions around the steering, handling an...

ENGINE PROBLEM/CAT REMOVAL
Hi All, I have been having some issues with my B5 1.8T lately and ended up knocking through the standard CAT. However, since doing this, the car seems to have a lot of lag and takes a second or so to come to life. I've cleaned the spark plugs and checked fault codes (none for engine) so am abit baff...

Exhaust Flexi Problem
Hi guys, Whilst driving home and enjoying the sunshine, my exhaust flexi pipe snapped... However, the car now doesn't hold any pressure and stalls after 20-30 seconds of struggling to run. Could this be caused by JUST the flexi pipe breaking, or could there be another underlying issue? I'm worried i...

Custom Exhaust
Hi All,
I'm based in Milton Keynes, and am looking for a custom exhaust system for my B5 1.8T.
Can anyone recommend any good places for custom systems? I don't mind travelling to London/Birmingham distance if need be
Cheers

02 SENSOR - WHERE IS IT?
Simple question - where can I find my 02 sensor? I have a B5 1.8T. I've been told that I need to unplug it and go for a drive, to see if the performance changes.
Cheers

B5 1.8T Running Issue - Advice Needed
My B5 1.8T has been suffering from power loss issues for a few weeks now. It's an intermittent problem, but has been becoming more common over the past week or so. It's been run on vag.com with no fault codes. It just seems to be running fine, but then all of sudden develops a misfire type feeling, ...

Re: 1.8T Problem
The only main modifications that could cause running issues would be the induction kit (which has been on the car for around 2 years) and a remap (which again I've had for 2 years). I've been told that the MAF may need replacing (as this sometimes doesn't come up with error codes), so I may go ahead...

Re: 1.8T Problem
No error codes at all (apart from temperature sensor). Wouldn't problems with the CAT give an error code?
If it wasn't the CAT, I was suspecting a faulty coil pack, but surely that would give an error code too?
Any thoughts peops?????....

1.8T Problem
Hi all, The last 2-3 times I've been out in the Passat, it has been fine for about 10-15 minutes, and then once it is warm it developes abit of a judder, where it feels very sloppy and looses power. I've also noticed a nasty smell, which I think is the CAT. Could the CAT be the problem once the engi...
