The trim is ok to get out, a bit stiff and pull up as you remove it. It's held on with 3 clips and then held at the top by a strap so it won't come off the car in the event an airbag goes I assume.

I forget, how much do you put in to a tank, do you need to mix it at all?

Re: Corner turning fog lights and remote mirror folding
I've done folding mirrors on my 2017 Seat Alhambra using OBDeleven I'm sure you could do the dogs as well but mine are already activated. The dealer said folding mirrors were not possible shows what they know!

Do you think the window and clutch are related, did something get knocked in the swap out?

Re: Coolant Temperature Conundrum!
When you say flange, if you mean the housing the reason I suggest it is you will end up breaking the pins that hold the thermostat as soon as you pull it out, trust me I've done a couple and they always snap!

Re: Free seats
Bob that is an awesome offer! I would love these but I'm not exactly close ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/2.gif)
I assume it's just the fronts?
If I wasn't busy today I would be up like a shot I have been wanting heated seats for ages!

Re: Coolant Temperature Conundrum!
Get a thermostat housing as well as a thermostat and don't get a cheap one as they are a false economy!
This will be your problem, it's quite common on these engines.

Is it down to the fact that my car doesn't throw up an egr fault if it's disconnected, making the ECU not Euro 4?

Re: snub mount
Just about to change the snub mount in my avf. If I remember correctly the v6 was the recommended one, but the one I took from my recently broken 2.5 tdi v6 was that spongy stuff not the solid rubber. Is the 2.8 v6 different? Yes they are different, the diesel one is sponge and the petrol is rubber...

Hmmmm so my nose in the water it doesn't smell the same as when opening the car, and water levels are the same as when I changed the cambelt so I don't appear to be losing water, so I can hope it's not the matrix..... I'll put this out there, I am always looking ahead I used to drive a van as a profession and did an advanced driving course. Looking ahead and behind, be aware of traffic and gaps in the road, you can easily keep cruise control at 70mph on s motorway without having to constantly adjust it is all abo...

Re: re turbo
Hi Paul, I agree you should be doing a scan, there is a VCDS alternative, look at something called OBDeleven it's similar to VCDS but uses a mobile phone or tablet and Bluetooth, the only downside is that it is only for android. You can still use live data and measuring blocks to see what's going on...

Re: 7 seater opinions
My wife and I just got a brand new SEAT Alhambra this was through motability so we don't pay, however it is a decent car and much bigger than the touran and Zafira. The Alhambra is basically the same car as the VW Sharan and Ford Galaxy up to a couple of years ago, then Ford went their own way. They...
