Heater temp very very sensitive
Hi can anyone advise if the B6 is normally like this but since having ours the heater control is either cold or very hot even moving it very slightly
Can it be re calibrated etc etc ?

Golf Gti with code 1297 can you help me
I have a 2001 Golf GTi turbo AUM engine code I keep getting EML with code of 1297 pressure lose between turbo and throttle body can anybody help with direct answer by fixing this code before,have had plenty of "try this" and have tryed this lots and still no good. seems to bring up a fault...

I have given up with the genuine VW Beru ones and am going to try NGK's lets see what happens as nothing else can be found to be causing them to go :(( This doesn't make sense...Beru don't make glowplugs for the B6 Passat so how can you fit genuine Beru ones. ?? Martin is spot on i had my electrics wizard out today and the hid units are picking up interferance with the wiper control module my hids are going in the bin ![Crying :((](./images/smilies/20.gif)

Wipers not working !!!!!
New day new problem the wipers started going on there own at the weekend even when the key was removed
i locked and unlocked the car then the wipers parked
the next time i used the car the wipers fail to move please help

Agree with above but he might need to connect VCDS and make sure that "basic settings" are ON is steering assistance module. If this is not ON I don't think lights will clear them self? Only strange thing is the parking brake light? Again I will check with VCDS. Thanks for all the help it...

The glowplug choices on B6 passats are very limited as explained on my site. You can only buy from dealer or NGK. If you fit the wrong ones, the glowplug controller will fail which is further expense. Thanks for all the replys i thought i had solved it until yesterday glow plug number 2 has failed ...

What car / engine is it. Sounds like the glow plug relay is not turning the plugs off if they are going that quick. There are 2 types of plugs for the 1.9 the older ones are only designed to stop on for 10-15 seconds. The newer more expensive ones can stop on for several minutes. Are you using the ...
