Re: (Probably simple) Issues with my B5 1.8 20v Turbo

Just realised you have a B5 not B5.5 so No OBD port, it may be with getting a smoke test done that will show up any vac leaks.

Re: Renegaderacer - B5.5 1.8T Sport Estate

Mine goes through the grommet close to battery area may even be through the matrix pipe grommet... then around battery if you remove the glovebox there is a grommet behind where it enters the cabin, but as your mounting on drivers side you may have to find access that side to keep vac hose shorter.

Re: Failed the NCT/MOT on emissions

At that mileage with original cat (yes yours has a cat) it's most probably clogged up but it could be anything rings/sticky valve vac leaks ect ect.... Could try a cheap cat just get it as hot as possible before MoT.

I would think so... it's very snug on airbox tho, looking at mine today I think there's room to put a reducer in. PM me your number il send you a pic of mine it's not very clear but will give you an idea what you may be able to play with.

That's identical to mine except mines black, I had to put a bolt in the top pipe tho. Fits snug and definitely better over the soft rubber OE TIP.
