Small dash draws stuck
One of the small draws next to the hazard light switch is stuck in. You can see its been pushed and stuck in that postition. Is there a way of releasing them without damaging them?

Re: Rust on front wings
I was told that vw recognized there was a problem with the tail gates and changed a metal fixing that caused the rust to a plastic type after a couple of years. Surely if this is the case it should be covered. I'm going to vw next week for an inspection on my wing and tail gate.

Hi there
Had my other pd130 sport passat remapped and although it feels smoother and gained some torq it dont feel that much quicker. I'd like to try a different company this time for my b6 sport tdi, Any suggestions?

I have a b5.5 sport tdi which i've had for a few years and very attached to, however a guy at work has a 2005 b6 tdi sport estate which i've also always liked (stunning colour and almost mint). It's now for sale at an attractive price. I do know that since he's had it, its had new electronic hand br...

rebuilding rear calipers?
I'm thinking of replacing the pistons and seals in my rear calipers. One started sticking and the seal is just about f-ed. I greased and free'd it up but its only a matter of time before it does again. Is this worth doing and is it an easy job?

Re: rear caliper sticking, help please!
It is because the adjuster screw / worm drive and mechanism within the caliper is sticky / partly seized. Do what I described above to free it off. You can apply the handbrake on and off with the caliper off as well but no more than ten times from a fully retracted piston. Repeat the wind back, han...

Re: rear caliper sticking, help please!
Hi gizmo I've checked it out and yes your right the cable is not returning back far enough and sticking. Infact the spring looks as if its lost and strength. I sprayed and worked it as much as i can but it still sticks slightly. The other side returns perfect. Although the handbrake lever feels fine...

rear caliper sticking, help please!
I noticed a week or so ago that my handbrake (lever) felt different. Usually there is tension on it from the start but all of a sudden there has been free movement in it untill around a third up. i jacked the car up in both rear corners and it appears that the drivers rear seems to have slight tensi...
