wow, mine has seperate element in the center and individual ones on the sides. The wires that feed the elements dont come from where yours do in your pics. If i remember rightly they all come from the rear and are completely insulated.

Yes wiring is the same bud, don't forget dash switches and airbag plugs if different, as above But is it just shape different to heater plugs for example like on airbag plugs, or different pin out aswell? I think switches are the same to b5 and b5.5 so wiring should be the same to both aswell. I fi...

No airbags in the b5 ones i have but i can get round that, just wanted to know if the wiring for the seats are the same regardless of b5 or 5.5 .

I have found a few wiring diagrams but is the wiring the same regardless of b5 or b5.5?

I need some pics please of the brackets etc that secure the rear armrest on the solid rear leather seats in the b5's
I have the seat and arm rest but it has no brackets at all.

yeh i have small lengths of loom on the back of the plugs on the seats and the switches. got a price on cable from a local auto electrical garage £25 so may see how much more an auto sparky may charge to do the lot.

No i have put b5 seats in to my b5.5. My old seats had airbags the b5 ones dont.

I've put b5 leather in my b5.5 and obviously have an airbag light on now. Anyone else done this or know what needs to be to sort the prob.

I've just bought heated leather from a b5 to go into my b5.5 . I'd really like the heated part of the seats to work. I got the switches and a small part of the loom from the switches. Is this easy enough to achieve or is it a mission?

I have a 2003 sport and need another rear light. My lights look almost tinted (defo not done previously) compared to another couple of friends passats. Did they do a factory tint or have mine just gone a bit manky.

No but i have noticed that sometimes i see water dripping from the latch area of the boot lid. I'm thinking it maybe condensating on the inside of the boot and then running in behind the back panel.
