Did you ever swap over the injectors in the end and did it solve it?

Hello again everyone! :esm UPDATE: Sent ECU off and a component was damaged - the drive for the injector circuit apparently. The tolerences were way out according to the figures. Repaired at a cost of £200, sent back, fitted. The car's a lot more responsive and the power seems to have been restored...

Got the ECU off yesterday and have sent it off! I'm actually hoping it's broken as this would solve my headache!

Thank you both for your prompt replies and info. I will have a look sometime this week (off from Wednesday) and see if I can get it off. I will post it to the ECU doctor in Plymouth and see if they can indentify any problems. Wish me luck!

When I swapped injectors 3 & 4 round I saw very little difference (still a very high reading on inje...

UPDATE: have checked cams for wear, they're fine. Have also done a compression check and all cylinders are ok. Looking at the readings for injectors 1 & 2 (above), it could be that they need reconditioning.

Any other ideas would be appreciated!

That doesn't look too good to me. The limit I think according to VAG-COM is +- 2.0 I think. http://sites.google.com/site/1810martin/vcds-and-pd-tdi-engine-health-check I would have a look at the cam profiles before changing injectors. Also if an injector was moved was it set up correctly ? it's not...
