Right, car needs a service, and the drivers door lock is sticking, from watching YouTube video, looks a bit of a ball ache job!
Any recommendations to box off both in very near future for reasonable price??
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Just fitted FK streets.... Very impressed so far
My FK Streets are apparently corroding on rear as got advisory on MOT, hoping doesn't show up when next due! But not had any issues with them apart from that

Re: Quick shift b5.5 (5 speed)
I only had 3 clips, but they snapped every time, they didn't look like that, must've sent me the wrong parts!!!
My mate helped me flick the circlip off with a screw driver, much easier to get on than off!
Feels much better now fitted tho!

Re: Quick shift b5.5 (5 speed)
Ok so I'm having some small issues... How essential are the e-clips on those nylon bushes? Presume you put clip on once on rod to hold it in place but don't seem to be able to get them on. Also, can't for life of me get the circlip off the gear stick, I did buy cheap pliers but they seem to open it ...

Re: Quick shift b5.5 (5 speed)
Evening all, just read through this again to prepare for Sat! Great article, does anyone know what the best freaks is for gear stick ball joint? I have lithium stuff, but read that Silicon might be good? Any input on this much appreciated. [emoji41]

Re: Quick shift b5.5 (5 speed)
When you say spring clip pliers, what exactly are they? Seems to be lots of variation on eBay! Are they essential? Also, what sort of grease? Will lithium stuff do?

Re: Window motor...or broken glass???
Guy said that the regulator has gone and he's blaming wear and tear. Any thoughts? If it's cheap and easy enough I might just box it off. But don't want to be taken for a ride by them if they've caused it.

Window motor...or broken glass???
Ok so long story, relatively shortish... Someone bricked my window. Got fixed on insurance, but guy couldn't get all of broken glass out of door. 6 months on and window got stuck half way up, with a horrible grinding noise. I presumed broken glass stuck in motor, but certainly as direct result of br...

Re: Suspension issues...MOT, Suspension arms, FK coilies
Well did see under it when my undertray was screwed back on and did look like the yellow outer was cracking off...but didn't get close look. Still, bit of a job doing that, but hopefully cheaper than any other option!
