Apart from the clock noit really bothered about the rear temp (no one will be in the back, and if so Iwwon'tcare if they are at 20 or 20.5!) And long term data, only really used for things like holidays so can see the milage.

seems quiet but i do have the radio on most times.

as title, i have the GT so 3 zone , but only the front 2 temps are shown on the menu option, the rear temp isnt shown, just red or blue.

it is all working ok, but just wondering if the rear temp should be shown or not?

the SD card for the navigation includes a licence that is specific to that device.

Maybe take a look in the manual or ensure the SD for the navigation is in ok?

Collected yesterday, specs as per my sig. These are based on 100 miles of driving, so quite new : 1 - Seats seem to be really comfy, but the arm rest seems lower than the B7 SE, need to see how this pans out but seems to be a bit more huggier than then B7 2 - Driving : feels quicker, steering a lot ...

google the location and trouble opening cars, sometimes there are areas that can cause fobs to not work due to interference from things nearby.

if the car gets too hot it keeps the fan (and possibly water pump?) on to help cool things down.

and as noted it will occur if you stop after a spirited drive without letting things cool down.

Nothing to worry about.

i would remove any known connection, so from your head unit and also from your phone, then try to reconnect from new.

VW just need to prove they have done what they can, so probably after x years they will announce closure of the fix, they cant force people to get the cars done. if it is a map (for 2.0's) then people will just remap (watch for tuning companies offering 'deals' to remap back to normal!) and 1.6's it...

If it isn't done then I am sure any future buyers can get it done by vw for a set period if they require for a few years at the least.

for those who are wondering, one is permanent live, the other switched, common issue when fitting aftermarket is to get them mixed up and wonder why the radio resets after every time the car is turned off.

my B7 has 2 trips, 1 resets after 2 hours of no driving, the other stays until reset.

Are you sure you are not just in the mode that resets the trip after 2 hours?

same on the B7, i have to check the red 'mood lighting' by the glasses holder to see if the lights are on when it is set to automatic when it is difficult to see (ie during bright but rain)

the R-Line appeared to be more cosmetic only for the extra cash.

but the GT has a full size spare wheel over any other model..

I opted for a factory fit, leased car so worked out cheaper than going aftermarket, swiveling so hides away when not in use.

my vin isnt recognised, a 12 plate 2.0 140tdi, but seeing as it is goign back to the lease company in a couple of weeks for a B8 i am not that fussed

Excellent, so its in the uk and wont be recalled, and my current B7, well can be remapped to anything once i give it back

Hi all, been informed my car is delayed due to it being delayed going into the pre delivery inspection.

So this i am assuming means it is in the uk, so any idea how long a PDI may take or what is involved?

so close now, until it gets recalled for a new ECU map to take it to 50hp!
