18k 2.0tdi 140, average mid 50s, for long trips can hit early 60's.

also remember you may have different driving modes, so sport will use more than eco.

i use eco generally for long trips as dont need the difference the sport mode needs and gives better fuel for mway runs

they should be good, on the GT models it appears to be pretty much every one sold has it and the fix is to bend the pipe out slightly!

must say, not impressed with this car, far too many issues for the cost! (but company car so in 2 years will probably end up with another!)

did this on saturday and the car kept running, had the key in the pocket whilst getting something from the house and nothing stopped or any messages and was a good few minutes and well away from the car for it to stuill pick up the key.

firstly, NEVER leave your car unattended whilst running.

secondly, if the car is running and you leave it with the key in your pocket, what happens?

does it stop?, present a warning? or just keep running and the key is only for starting?

they are the MDI cable, on my old passat i got 2, one for an ipod and one for a USB, just stuck a 32Gb usb stick in with a load of MP3's on.

Just beware though as mine didnt like a recent ipod when plugged in, but i only use self ripped MP3's anyway so the usb stick worked great.

thats what the tyre place said, but then again probably say that to anyone with a company hack for them to get more cash in.

and didnt realise F1's were cheap, i paid more than £80 a corner when i had my MX5 and that was only a 15" wheel and not that wide..

the other problem, if they have a nail/screw in then it cannot be fixed apparently (according to my local tyre place), so whilst it may not go flat (i have had a few nails/etc during my ownership, but was a lease car so just took it in) a screw will render a £130 tyre useless, whereas a normal tyre...

That's interesting about the locking. I suppose most of us would always have our cars locked at the turning of midnight so would always produce the bug. I still have the rear climate zone disappearing from the infotainment view and the engine rattle dispite the fact they claimed to have fixed both....

i thought it was, but know now that if the car was in the dealers they probably didnt lock it, so the problem didnt show!

will mention it when i get chance, in no real rush..

not yet, but can replicate by setting click to 23:58 then locking car then returning a few minutes later and starting it, wiht the values reset to 0.

so it is something wiht it going over 12 midnight i think!

just buy used a year after release, I bet the majority of new ones are leased, so expect a glut after 3 years of used but high mileage...

but remember, if you go diesel then it doesn't really start getting good mileage after 50k anyway, both of mine seemed to get better after that.

only real difference (apart from cosmetic) that i have found is that if you add POI's then you can now add custom icons to them.
