the oil cooler leaking do you mean? the coolant is fine no oil/water mixing, I just changed the coolant after loosing most of it through the temp senosr Yeah the oil cooler rots on the inside letting the water & oil mix but if you water is clear you can rule that out too, 2l every few hundred m...

I have the same poxy noise on my 1.8T estate cant locate the noise either i know the front snub mount is shot but I dont think that is the source of the noise

I hate those easiebleed things that use the spare wheel!
I would rather use my hand vacuum pump.
I may invest in a bigger one that u pump up and leave the pressure in it though

what is the quickest and easiest way to do this at home on my drive I did my 4x4 last month and the car is now 14 years old with the original brake fluid so it needs changing

As above a H7 HID kit is the best way to improve the headlights. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xenon-HID-Conversion-KIT-H7-4300K-Digital-Mini-Ballasts-Metal-base-HID-bulbs-/331046666030? There are plenty of others on Ebay. You can get a Kit for less than £20. Personally I wouldn't go for anything more...

the clamp on one actually requires the exhaust to be cut either side of the spigot joint to fit it that is why it is longer

I will measure to be sure to be sure, yes a weld in one is no problem get to try my new to me mig out on the car then! The clamp on ones looked too long anyway

to be honest I do not drive the car that much the mrs does i will be taking it for its mot tomorrow driving it to work so i will take a close look, but if i put the pedal down on the drive it does smoke a bit and there is some black residue on the drive under the exhaust, yes the turbo spools up jus...

I may be interested in the parts mate I am needing new springs for sure on the rear changed my pads on the front today and the discs have seen better day although they are only er i forget how old now maybe 5 years! rear discs on mine are original too!
