ok i think ive found where the damp may be coming from
the little drain plugs in the floor look a little loose
proberbly due to car being low and bottoming out at some stage in the past
im gonna clean them up and silicone sealer them in
that should stop that dampness

ok i had to change my main battery today as its been turning over very slow in the mornings so as you all know the wiper scuttle pannel has to be moved a little to get the battery out(pig of a job and stupid design fault) and i found the pollen filter although a little dirty it was as dry as a bone ...

this is my favorite tune at the mo
and a sick bit of dancing to boot

Cheers I took the ccm box out and unplugged the wires All looking mint and clean No corrosion in plugs and sockets Also drivers side is as dry as a bone And no pollen filter fitted to my car unless I cannot see it I cant see were the damp would be coming from on passenger side as battery compartment...

just remembered another thing
if your sitting inside with the doors closed but unlocked
flick the button on the drivers door to lock the doors and the passenger door locks then unlocks its self
but the rest of the doors stay locked

just a quick update
ive had the carpet in the passenger side up
although the floor is what i would call condensation its not soaking wet
ive pulled the ccm box out and its as dry as a bone inside and no corrosion to any of the wires

strange thing today someone in work told me there was a car parked touching my bumper so i went to have a look and yes it was touching the front bumper so i moved my car further down the road and when i got out he car would not lock from the button on my key i can only manually lock with the key and...

had a bit of a day trip today i decided to not go to work and go and see my parents i live in essex and they live in wells in somerset first long drive in my b5 estate took 4 hours in the rain to get there and 3 hours to get back with no rain and a different route 320 mile round trip on 3/4 of a tan...

a little bit of struggling wih a piece of silicone tube and its fixed ...cheers

my switch has the folding mirror selection but putting the switch in that position and it doesnt do anything
the mirrors move around ok
how can you tell if the heated part works ...is there a light to show there working?
