I put a titanium knee slider of my leathers on the sump of my g60 golf years back stopped the rubbing and when it did hit loads of sparks looked good at night lol

Well been looking for some nylon tube for my boost gauge for a week and today it hit me lol in the face when I was cleaning my mig machine the liner for the ally wire is the perfect match and good for about 300c without melting fitted it a lunch and works a treet nice steady gauge needle now

I would stay away from long life stuff if it was me really doesn't do the engine good on the v6tdi long life helps kill the cams ask adams24 he will tell you about the engines he rebuilds and most of them are on long life plan.

well she went back together yesterday did a quick 100miles in her and shes running a dream! (for now). just need to get some small hose for my boost gauge as i moved it when i did the intercooler to the other side so to make the distance up i used some spare fuel line but its to big and the gauge is...

its ok bud you can keep it was ment to make a new one but never got round to it lol. took the hole front off as i thought it was going to be harder to get the alternator out also modded a few bits hear and there as well.

Well my turbo tipped up today so going to marketing a few bits when I'm back at work had a quick look today and my exhaust won't bolt up to it as its a little to small so going to mod the cast to fit the exhaust only needs a little playing with.

Not sure what clutch my v6 runs but I'm assuming its bigger but I've not even had a hint of slip yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed lol just waiting for that day.

Hmmm well I'd say lot more smoke than normal and maybe getting a black water patch on a clean floor when you rev it up and take the inlet off and see how much if any play is in the turbo.
