Re: ...another one bites the dust! :(

I've only ever been out of work for 3 months and that was over 3 years ago now and understand how hard it is even in my situation with no child to look after or house to pay for so in your circumstances i'm really sorry to hear that mate. It was only yesterday on the news i remembered hearing someon...

Re: Help with a Ford Focus!

Also like you said and i'd agree with you, Its better just to take it to someone because even though we can all make suggestions to you that may be this and may be that, its probably just better for someone to actually take a look at the car in person at a garage, Prefrebly a reputable mechanic who ...

Re: Help with a Ford Focus!

I'd definetly say the clutch is'nt helping matters, As obviously with revving it more than usual its going to use more fuel, As for the service parts, i'd say its not too bad since you say only 8 months ago but then for what its worth if you can do it yourself i'd change the air filter and spark plu...

Re: Help with a Ford Focus!

When was the last time it was serviced?

I.E - Spark plugs, Oil changed, Air filter, All the usual service parts.

Is the car having to be revved more since the clutch is on its way out, I expect if its slipping it will be?

Re: Any suggestions on how to get the rear lower?

Is this safe though taking both the adjusters out AND the rubber cups out, I know last time we took the rubbers out while it was sat on the drive just to take pictures and it was very very low then, but dont want any safety issues or MOT issues on my hand if i was to do that?

mortgages confuse me i dont understand half of it at all.

I only earn £13k a year and even if they x5 that makes it £65k what house can you buy for that money nothing.

Nothing wrong with a council house if you can get a half decent area.

Re: The 20s have arrived!

I've a fair idea what chromes are like in the sun yeah lol, I know mine are mirror polished which is sort of the next step down from chrome in a fashion, I'll say one thing though sure others will agree is that lowering a car can have a really big impact on how you see alloys. Before i sold my A8's ...
