2.0tdi bkp cambelt and waterpump
Trying to sort out cambelt and waterpump change on my sat. Its a 57 plate 2.0tdi bkp engine. When is cambelt due?? Also anu ideas of how much its going to cost?? Located in ayrshire if anyone knows someone local.

Well managed to get some prices best was 105 for one side or 280 for both rear wheel bearings and brake pads fitted. Wasnt too bad price wise and at least thatll be one less thing to worry about.

Yeah was thinking about just doing disks n pads while it was all stripped any ideas of costs if i go to an indy or even main dealer???

No need to clean sensor upon closer inspection it appears the pulse ring is broken. Had a quick look at other side and its cracked as well so only matter of time until it fails. Is there any way to check the pulse ring?? Can you see it through the hole where sensor goes. Or is using a multimeter my best bet??

Might go down genuine route first then. Fault code was defo rear left wheel speed sensor no other fault codes were present. Having looked into ecu problems most through up several codes. So hopefully its a duff sensor.

Just down at garage getting scanned its showing as rear left abs sensor. Stripped it out and cleaned warning lights still there. Although very end of sensor looks like its been hitting something in the hub its slightly worn is this normal??

Could it be an abs sensor? Epb works fine both going on and releasing also automatically releases when pulling away.

parking brake warning light
Hi guys i have the dreaded epb warning light as well as traction control and abs light on dash. Epb seems to be working fine, any ideas whats going on?? Was reversing caravan up slopped driveway with bit of burning clutch lol. Parked up and when i went to drive away warning lights appeared.

Yeah I know but I must be getting old I like the comfort of the big bus, currently doing around 16000 miles a year plus with towing the caravan no sure if springs/coilovers would be suitable.

Whilst fitting my towbar i noticed a rather large hole in my exhaust where the pipework meets the back box. Did think the sat was getting bit noisier. So whats my options and price its a 2.0 tdi. Does anyone have any idea if a passat b7 westfalia towbar would fit a b6?? I was under the assumption it was just a facelift and all the under pinnings where shared?? Could be wrong though
