Re: New Member & Introduction to me and my Passat
Do I need to remove the sump to identify or can this be identified by the engine code ? well as you bought it off your dad who got it new im sure you would know if it has or hasn't failed low oil pressure light comes on which can blow turbos and even ruin engines if its not caught quick enough. If ...

Re: 2009 B6 TDI CR engine MIL light on
You doe if you want OEM, did you just fit a new 77mil key? Why would anyone want a 77mm oem one if its failed once it will fail again so no point. Also if people like waisting there hard earned cash on a oem module then so be it especially when you think how old they are. I had a 77mm fail no oil p...

Re: 2009 B6 TDI CR engine MIL light on
I just had the parts priced up from main dealer, 48 for the drive gear, 72p x 4 for the bolts, key was less than a tenner, this was like for like on a CR engine, its done 180k so I see no reason to fit an upgrade kit, ten years ago when it was newer then maybe, if you want the 100mm upgrade from th...

That will not polish out mate, id expect the mechanic to put it rite
you have a couple of options, buy 2nd hand piece or rub down and paint
2nd hand is probably the easiest option or you could also try a silver touch up on it to take the eye of it.
quick and easy
