As i just found out, new gearbox required looking at £300 min if you feel lucky and get 2nd hand, plus fitting, or rebuild for £600+

If you get a 377 Wiper Relay and replace your 192 relay it will give you normal intermittent wipers. Relay is under the drivers kick panel. i paid £3600 last year for a similar spec but mines got no sunroof and had 93k on in grey so i feel a bit seeing one like this so much cheaper!

And mines in the shop having a new gearbox fitted as we speak! so factor that in on top!

mines tempremental have to use the fob to lock and unlock and then it works, no doubt i will have the same prob soon when it packs up altogether

Think I'd better fix my whining gearbox and pinking brakes before I make it go faster!!! Haha

It's got worse today, comes from driver and pass side, about every other time you press the brake. Just goes "pink" sound and stops fine. Could it be sticky calipers? But both sides???

My gear stick has moved like this since I had it as well, mainly in 6th. It's only just started making a noise though. Is it not a cheaper option to replace the bearing rather than a full rebuild or new gearbox for £300+ labour?

Well done Karl, mechanic says bearing has gone on the gearbox so going to look for replacement. Tell tale sign is when accelerating the gear stick moves backwards and when decelerating goes forward.
