A new Audi in the family..
I went with my dad today to pick up his new ride. He has chopped his 3.0 TDi A6 in for... A TT! 3.2 V6 quattro in Dakar beige, big gamble with the colour, never seen one in this before but I think it works well with the nappa leather. Been out for a spin and with the magnetic suspension on it sure d...

Re: STOP OIL PRESSURE LOW
Even with G40 disconnected the engine should still start but it will take longr to run as it wont have cylinder recognition and will not be able to find TDC on cylinder 1.

Re: STOP OIL PRESSURE LOW
If the car wont star then turning it over will eventually bring up the oil pressure light as the pump isnt spinning fast enough to create pressure. This happens when you have an empty fuel filter for an eample and you cank over to prime the system up so I would doubt its anything to do with oil. Cou...

You need to get the fault codes read, it will pin point which one is giving you the issue.
Check the wiring visually.

Re: B5 ABS Fault Help!
What you feel is the ABS working. Its confused as its not picking up the front wheel speed, it knows the back is moving so assumes the front wheels are locked and thus cuts the brakes. You have either not got an ABS sensor in far enough, its not connected, its damaged, the rotor that it reads off is...

Re: Coolant Change Warm Up Issues URGENT
Have you bled the cooling system out? One of the heater matrix hoses has a hole in it behind the clip. Pull the hose forward until the hole is exposed. The air will escape and eventually water will flow out.

Re: Anyone got Air Ride
I ran a Rayvern hydraulic system on my pick up and it did me just fine. Coupled with adjustable shock absorbers it transformed the handling and also looked damn cool. Howver you have to spend the money, do you research and ask the pros what system is best for you, there are a lot of options to consi...

Re: Plenum drains blocked - a helpfull guide.
You can get one of them from underneath but its not easy as the grommets sit above the steering rack.
And if you do get one look out, your gonna get stinky and wet.

It can take that long depending on the connection to Germany.
And yes if you code a spare key the original will also need recoding. But providing the immobilizer type match (and the key itself does) you can recode a key as many times as you like and to whatever car you like.

Re: 7k Car polish anyone?
I think your missing the point. Its a profesional car polish noy really for the individual, tools of the trade. To a luxuary car valeter £7k is a buisness expense. I have a £25k tool kit at work, I could do the same job with a lot less but its my living and I like using the best I can afford.

Re: Engine Swops
In theory it should, it all point the right way. You may well have to alter the front end to get it all in. Width should be ok but length may be an issue.
Unless your running four motion though it aint even worth considering.

Very true, but that is a brilliant bit of advertising for Zymol. Pick a popular car of the monent, do a crazy detail clean on it. They know it will get posted on god knows how many forums and seen by thousands of people. Chap also did a Veyron 'clean' which I think is more his regular bread and butt...

Re: 7k Car polish anyone?
To be fair it isnt the kind of polish you are going to use on a Corsa now is it..lol. If you have an 8 million pound Bugatti that needs a little love or a Ferrari Enzo that needs its 6 month clean in storage then £7k on some wax isn't going to be a real concern. Plus I think its normally car care c...

If the display is flashing it means there is a fault in the climate system/ You need the fault codes read off to determne what it is.
