Ive put the Passat up for sale on gumtree for £750, I thought that was a fair price with it having a years mot and the front suspension has been done

No it didn't get trapped, when I took it of I gently placed it on one side so nothing got damaged, the catch lever is working ok but the bonnet will just not close down when you push on it, as it just pops back up, it was fine before, weird.

I just changed the slam panel on my b5.5 and now for the life of me I cant get the bonnet to close, it just will not lock when you push down on it to close it and I cany see any adjustment on this, any ideas whats wrong here?

Yes it does help thanks, if you look at part number 11 which I think is a screw, then its that part of the frame that is broken, the previous owner has put an aluminium plate on it to connect it to the wing, I don't think its repairable, ive tried to upload a picture of it with tapatalk
