Mine is also remapped and I have no restriction above 4k rpm even with the standard cat. Sports cat and milltek exhaust coming soon so that should improve things further. obviously when ya go from standard to re-map its make the car come alive like you wouldn't believe so everything seems so much b...

the group buy kit is only for ssats up to 2001??? i've asked loads of times about the suitability of this kit for my 2003 1.8t but nobody can help me. i'm glad somebody has found out that its no good for a 2003 before i purchased this kit!!

Or maybe it is other way around aeb can't use awt because of throttle body being operated by cable not wire :?

well its been remapped n noticed the revs holding back over 4k. got a decat pipe fitted and noticed a big difference so thought this might do the same (obviously gonna change the restricted induction / turbo hoses!!) n the turbo will be upgraded one day! As far as I know the main difference is that ...

i had the same feelings after my revo mate. but it does make you wonder "Why wasn't it like this in the first place!!" re-mapping really does unleash the beast from within!!! :P :P

same problem here too!! but i've managed to cure it almost by simply dropping 5mm on the size of the side wall on the tyre i.e. gone from 205/55/16 to 205/50/16. this seems to have reduced the wear by miles. got 18's on now though so goona see how these last n if i have the same problem gonna go fro...

100% Legal, the legal problems are only caused when you have the front windows tinted... These cover the back half of the car... Which you can have as dark as you want. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE i.e. REMEMBER YOU CANT HAVE THE REAR WINDOW AS DARK AS YOU LIKE!!! THE LAW STILL STANDS THE SAME FOR THE REAR WI...

I was recently quoted £800 and £600 by two seperate vw garages. VW in Merthyr Tydfil and VW in Newport respectivly. they also quoted £475 & £295 respectivley for a timing belt change, how can two dealers prices be so far apart? "The Worlds A Crooked Place!".... Had my 1.8t revo'd ...

changing the bearings on the rear wheel! how the hell are you supposed to get the top bolt out of the brake calliper. need to take this off to release the disc so i can get to get to the hub/bearings but the brake lines in the way to get any allen key/socket in the head of the bolt. is there a way r...
