What a load of twash! Lol. Everyone one of you whose had a remap are stumped if this later on becomes a mandatory flash update to pass the MOT!

Re: Insulating Garage Roof
Lol. Dew point, Relative Humidity & Psychometric chart. The dew point is the temperature at which air is saturated with water vapor, which is the gaseous state of water. When air has reached the dew-point temperature at a particular pressure, the water vapor in the air is in equilibrium with liq...

Re: Insulating Garage Roof
Without seeing I'm assuming. Hard to say. It could be a number of reasons. Too much air space. 17" is quite a lot. Insulation quilt not thermal efficient enough for the space / size. Bridging from somewhere. Where the moisture tracks across a thermal bridge creating a pooling effect. Or it has ...

Insulating Garage Roof
It will get some damp on cold roof & insulation will help but good ventilation is the most important thing. If you can put some decent air vents in and see how it goes (recently done a friends big shed with vents & roof dried out nicely and no more damp) Bubble wrap might work, just enough t...

Re: Come home/ Leave home lights
I'd probably say all VW have done here is activated the VCDS side of things, but never installed the auto switch. They are pennies off eBay & take 3 seconds to fit. Unless you can go back to VW and ask why it doesn't work. My guess though is it needs this auto switch as mine wouldn't work withou...

No idea how it works on yours without an auto switch. How do you know it's a factory set thing? Did you buy it new? If so why did you opt for it and never realise lol.

Leaving home needs the auto switch. They won't work without it. Standard switch only allows coming home.

Re: Any Plumbers On Here??
These inlet valves are very good but eventually like everything it will fail. Usually around 5-8 years. But when it does (Doesn't fill up) it's a very cheap fix. Buy these washers and unscrew the blue section below the water flow and take out the black washer and renew. No need to renew the complete...

DSG compatibility pass at b6 2010
Why you even asking this? If it fails. That's like asking will it rain on June 26th 2040. (Yes it has the potential to)
Ignore the scare mongers and just drive it. If it fails like every car out there manual, auto or DSG then so be it & move from there.

Re: What is this cable called?
I know what it is for, it has been damaged and I need to replace it. It is actually for my Philips Wireless headphones. I called Philips for a replacement but sadly the headphones are now obsolete. Any ideas folks? AOHO Damn, says file is too big. Back to the drawing board. It's a 3.5 jack isn't it.

What's VD? In my days in school VD was a sexual transmitted disease lol. I'm not clued up on vagcom, VD or even VCDS. But if you haven't the software it's a 3 minute task to activate the feature on VCDS. Ask in here if there's anyone near you willing to set it up on their VCDS for a beer token or tw...

No you can set it up before the switch is fitted as per the post before yours confirms that.
