Re: RNS510 Map update and firmware update
Hi. Can’t reuse the last one as it’d just install the map & firmware already on the RNS510
I’ll have a look at trying to remove the radio then to get to the info.

Actually it’s not a difficult job at all, the hardest part is prising up the silver surround around the gearstick.
Can to say how with step by step pics? lol.

Re: Boot full of water.
Item 17 on this diagram is called a 'water drainage hose', so I should think that is what you are looking for... B6 boot.png Yes, that's the one. The top of the tube sits just under the slit in the round seal on each side of the hinge arm. The seals should gently pull off, but the rubber does peris...

Re: Boot full of water.
Had exactly this. Under each round boot seal for the hinge arms there is a drain tube that channels water down to the wheel arch. One of mine was blocked, causing the boot to fill with water. I cleared it with a 12V tyre compressor and have had no problems since. The seals do perish and can be dama...

Re: Boot full of water.
It may be leaking where the wheel well bowl is bonded in or through the boot post or boot seals? Especially if you are parked at a particular front down angle where the water will sit in the rear boot channel possibly leaking down the posts and down inside. Was the carpet wet or just the bowl full ...

Boot full of water.
Hi. Not sure what this is. Opened boot, pulled up carpet to get to spare tyre and the base was full of water. It’s not wet anywhere else, head of boot dry, sides of boot dry. I had to bale it out like a sinking ship and mop the rest up. Any ideas what it could be? Just a few photos of possible locat...

Re: RNS510 latest maps
Nice one Rhino. Now upgraded from maps 8117 to 8477 with ease. Took around 28 minutes. And speed cameras didn't need re-adding. Thanks for your talk through on this. Was actually easier than I thought. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170307/12c41da9875303b755a63ac30058f2a1.jpg https://uploads.tap...

Re: RNS510 latest maps
Ahh tad far for me that. I'll do some research on how I update it. (Before it was basically put a disc in and it overwrites the old map) and then I'll be in touch for a copy.

Scrap that. Found it. 15Amp fuses either side of a 20amp at the base of the fuse panel. Changed blown one. Now works again.

12v boot socket
Hi. My boot 12v socket has stopped working B6 Passat. Anyone got a diagram of which fuse needs replacing. Can't find anything on google. The middle and front sockets still work so the boot must be a separate fuse. So rather than pulling them all out which is what I'll do if I don't get an answer any...

Rear lights (Leak)
Hi. Anyone any ideas on why this is leaking? I'm assuming the seal around the light has perished. If so is it easy enough to replace?
