Small update,ABS is now fixed and to do a lower arm as well,took it in for its mot and its passed :esm Washer light is now on but I pulled the whole senser out of the washer bottle by mistake,when I did the abs module,and haven't managed to put it back fully in yet as I found out when I went to fill...

crystal clear side repeaters
Hi all,im looking for some crystal clear side repeaters to match the already clear lights on the front,ive had some off ebay but they are pants as the tabs break. Think ive asked this question before but cant find it,do any of the other vag repeaters fit as I might find some if I go down that route....

Its now fixed,changed the arb bushes,they were worn but did nit solve the problem,also did the links,again these were worn but was not the problem,has helped the front end now dosent feel so vague now.The problem was the lower front arm,the ball joint was gone as was pointed out by the previous post...

Thanks for the replies chaps,it was actually plus gas I sprayed not wd40 my mistake,dont know why I wrote wd40 lol. The arms appear to be all ok but you could definatly feel movement through the anti roll bar arm so it could be either the c links or the anti roll bar bush. looks like im going to hav...

Mine has been remapped up to somewhere between 180-190 possibly,hasnt been rolling roaded though. Simon from cctech did it as he can come to you plus I think he is a sponser on here. The wastegate flap on mine broke and was rattleing like a good'un,it wasn't even connected as it had all perished,so new turbo was installed all is now well.

Ive just got a 37"lcd and 1000w surround sound,4 tall speakers,central speakers and a kelton sub,plenty loud enough when cranked up but next door ornaments were vibrating on their shelf lol. Only did a test to see how loud I could get away with lol

Ive had a couple rattles in mine,one of them was the wastegate flap was not connected inside the turbo,so hardly any boost,so put a new turbo on sorted,the second rattle was one of the bolts which hold the turbo on to the manifold had worked loose,i couldn't of tightened it when I put the new turbo ...

Thanks for the replies chaps,yep the rear brake lights work,i did that first,i will check the wheels sensors and see if that makes a difference. Started the car up earlier reversed out of driveway,went about a mile lights came on,applied brakes,vibration through pedal as if abs was on,was doing less...

Hi had the car checked,came up with electrical connection between ABS module and instrument cluster- no signal intermittent? Does this mean the module is toast or could a wheel sensor cause the same code/message? Could a faulty relay cause this as well. Don't think anyone is near me to do a vag com ...

Not much to report got a leaking rear shock so getting it sorted and got a knocking sound coming from the nsf which is annoying and the headlight adjuster came off the bottom arm,thats sorted now apart from that enjoyin the power increase,need to give a girt clean inside and out.

Yep I can now its been remapped,not like a Scooby wwhhhhooosh though. It was a lot louder when I put some holes in the airbox but it did my head in,so put it back to normal. ive got the forge 007 its not that loud but is noticeable.

Don't know what the differences are but mine is an apu,ive only a forge dv and remap,someone else might be able to give more info.
