i have replaced the maf, and cleaned the egr and inlet manifold, considering mileage neither were that bad, filters all done within last few thousand miles, i am running 235/35/19 tyres, i will get the glow plus checked, but do they really affect the mpg that much?

130 bhp pd engine, 156000 miles, not smokey, with present remap settings i am down to 35mpg and thats me taking it easy, someone else has just said if its electronic inkectors usually they either work or dont, theres no half measure?

hi all, i have been told my poor fuel economy could be down to worn injectors, can anyone recommend a supplier or a different set that might give a bit more power at same time that are a direct replacement, i think i read somewhere that ones out a transporter made a difference,, all help appreciated...

i got my 130 sport done at angel tuning in troon, just outside ayr, allegedly ay 180bhp, it has been remapped 3 times now as my fuel economy plummetted, was on 42mpg average standard, now down to 35mpg, so i am having it put back to standard,, anyone else had a similar problem?

i am thinking of getting a retro fit cruise control from fleabay, and i know it has to be programmed in using vag-com, i have seen cables and the likes also on ebay, what would i need to get, and is it fairly simple for me to do,, or should i take it to an auto electrician for both things?

just had an afterthought, how would an octavia vrs interior fair in the passat, is it a similar base?

i have seen a few nice leather interiors out of a golf mk4 advertised as fitting the b5.5 passat, anyone done this conversion, is there much work involved,, ie. door cards adapted etc?

i have tried doing a search for this subject, but maybe someone could send a link or drop the hint, i want to replace the standard single din unit in my passat tdi sport, but i cant see anywhere for removal keys to slide in,, is it a dash out job?

i have seen a kit on fleabay, genuine vw parts to retro fit cruise control onto tdi pd passat, has anyone done this and how hard is it?
