You were right, when i removed the bumper i found the black guide was badly broken, i have replaced it and it is much better now.

Yours looks the same as mine, it looks like i might not be missing anything in the end.

Does your bumper move in and out very easily at this point?
Seems odd to me that mine moves so easily, the hole at the bottom of wheel arch liner makes it look as if a part is missing.
