Tyre pressure warning?

Anyone else having problems with the tyre pressure warning now it’s starting to get colder?

I checked my pressures recently and they are all fine but whenever I get in the car in the morning it comes up saying tyre pressures too low.

Glad I never got mine done, never bothered to take it in as I wanted to wait until other people had it done. Turns out I made the right decision.

Yeh, that's the space hogger at the moment, guess she will only be in it for another few months until she wants to riggle around and try and escape.

Re: What happened to the boot....??

Think I'm going to invest in a dog guard and get rid of the load cover. At least that way I can stack stuff a little higher with no risk of the little lady getting stuff falling onto her. Just mental when you get the pram in and the pram frame and there's barely any room for a food shop.

Re: First mod to my Passat b7 estate

Suit the car much better than the Audi wheels, I'm sure some people's opinions will differ but that's mine, even though I do like the Audi wheels.

What happened to the boot....??

Well, the weekend was a big change, my baby daughter arrived, a little early but is an amazing feeling.

Just a quick question, do people on here with wagons use a trailer when going away? Jesus, I thought the boot was cavernous until I got the pram and frame in there. Where did all the space go??

Where did you get your pressed plates from out of interest? I like the clean look and love the car, personally don't think it needs anything else, unless you go for interior similar to the boot.

Re: First mod to my Passat b7 estate

Yeh, had good gti's, Clio sports and R32 before this so used to having a much better handling motor. First family wagon which I hardly drive as I've got a junker to get me to and from work.

Re: First mod to my Passat b7 estate

Good, with a little one on the way I don't want it to be crashing about. I've just put four new Contis on mine after the tyres were all a bit poor in the wet. They are awesome but seeing as it's the first time owning a front wheel drive wagon I'm still getting used to a little more understeer.

Cheers, really like the stance.

Out of interest what's the ride like over the standard ride? Is it the same rebound rate or is it slightly worse?

Recently had the same issue with a water pump failing, as a result cambelt and aux belt were changed and don't have any issues.

Re: Nervous about remapping 140bhp Passat (2011)

My only issue with dpf delete is that I've read that it will cause issues on MOT, is that accurate or just scare mongering? Plus I don't want the motor to chug out loads of soot and assume that will happen with no dpf?

Re: Nervous about remapping 140bhp Passat (2011)

Not that I want to hijack the post but what's people opinions on remapping a 170 sport? I just want a little extra grunt for motorway journeys, I don't tow a caravan but I know some people think that the clutch won't handle a remap?

Re: Upgrading bushes

It was due at the end of the this year at some point so it was a lovely result.

As for the bushes, cheers for the recommendation. I think it's time I got them done, there seems to be a slight drone from the suspension.

Upgrading bushes

So, had a big coolant leak the other day and took it into VW and asked them to look at it based on the warranty I had. Called later that day to tell me the cambelt and water pump are being replaced, before I went made and said I didn't ask for it to be changed they said it was all being done under w...

Need some advice

So I've had my Passat for a few months now and with the weather and living on a building site a quick wash every so often is all I've managed up until this evening. Came home from work and decided to give it a good clean, I've always thought the bonnet was a bit dull but thought it would need a poli...
