I was given 1litre of audi castrol long life 2, 0w 30 oil ,as a token gesture from the garage that i bought my b6 from i understand that my vehicle uses 5w 30 oil, so the question im asking is will i be able to use the 0w 30 in my car???

i now own a b6 passat estate 2.o tdi se
i also own a 6n2 polo 16v
and i used to own a 1.6cl 6n polo

i own a 16v polo myself but the 6n2 i have 195x 45 tryes on mine look so much better than a 50 profile!!!

My 06 passat has the climatic controls which is different to my polos air con, now when i was using the aircon in the polo it used to drain my fuel quite considerably but ive been reading through the hand book for the passat and it states that using the econ button is supposed to be more economicle ...

Finally picked up my new 2ltr tdi se (06) yesterday and i must say what a pleasure to drive, seems so different to driving my beloved polo so i now have 2 dubs in the house hold!!!! as with the polo forum very pleased with the lay out on here hope to pick up some good tips from you guys ;) etc......

the vehicle was a fleet car used by a sales rep i believe up and down the motor way, will this be a costly thing to have done, obvioulsy its going to be cheaper than a new engine but would you have a rough idea as garages prices differ from place to place??

just purchased a 2006 2ltr tdi passat it has covered 65000 miles but am unsure if its had a timing belt change, could anyone tell me if it has a belt or a chain and how much roughly it will cost me to replace said item if the garage will not pay????
