Re: Drag on rear brakes since changing pads
Hi Chillout
Thanks for coming back to me.
What is the fundamental element that VCDS is doing in that procedure, is it a calibration?
Best regards

Drag on rear brakes since changing pads
Hi all I changed the rear pads on my B7 estate. I wound the caliper motors back using the direct 12v connection to the motor method, all went well. I greased up everything I could as normal however since putting everything back together I had drag on the rear wheels. The alloys warm up on a drive wh...

Re: 11 million VWs under review?
Is there a definitive check to see if the update has been done?
I took my motor in for a belt change at VW main dealer, requested updated wasn't done... but I'm down on MPG since.

Reduced MPG since belt change.
Hello guys, I took my B7 2013 sport into VW main dealer for a belt change, I signed a declaration to stop them updating the software, however since the change, my average tank to tank MPG has dropped from 52 to 46. Generally, it feels less spritely, sluggish in 6th etc. Two tanks of fuel. So, either...

B7 Passat Engine Mounts
Hello guys,
My 2013 Passat sport has recently been showing signs of a worn lower engine mount. I can feel the movement when changing gear, throttle response etc.
Is this a known failure point on these Passats at all?
