sorted now

i've located and cleared the 2 front sunroof drains (cut the tips off as well) but now i've taken the plastic inner arches off i cant find the rears

where exactly are they located?

this is a 2001 4 door

In answe to the comment that VAG cars should only need a litre top-up once in between services, any one with a modern VAG car that "uses no or very little" oil is truelly lucky, my B5 2.8 V6 likes an additional 4>5 litres between services (12 months 8,000 miles) and my wife's 9N Polo 1.4 ...

it was early this morning

took my 2001 4motion, 65k, fsh, sat nav etc etc to 2 car dearlers yesterday
they both offered 3k for it in part ex on 6k cars

i'd rather pull my teeth out than go through that again

i've had it on a snap-on diag machine, no errors/faults detected
i'm completely baffled

i've got one on order but just wondering how the brake pedal assembly is taken appart to fit the new one
