Ah, my mistake, I was talking about cv joints, but you're talking about shafts.....I'll shut up then!

Split the balljoint, undo the nut and push the bolt out as far as you can....then twist the arm down so the bush moves and you should be able to get the bolt out.....fiddly but you can weasel it out! I use this method and saves loads of messing about!

Nice ride and a great price! As it's a facelift, you should find that Golf 2 lowering springs fit the front and the only springs that will fit the rear are Ford Sierra cosworth rears (dont know if you have them over there though...) Failing that, just do what everyone else does and cut the springs!

She really is a honey...much sweeter than mine and just down the road too!
