Re: who's running FK's or Joms??
I had FK sport plus coilies on my last b5 and I was really impressed with the ride, they had adjustable damping....however, they popped a damper within about 6 months ( about 11000 miles)

wanted- mk1 facelift windscreen
Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for a windscreen for my 1980 mk1 after a stone came straight through mine last night! There's one on the bay, but it's got blooming around the edges, so is really a last resort! Anyone know of a decent screen about? Cheers! http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c75/filthy...

Re: Lower rear arms bolts!!
Split the balljoint, undo the nut and push the bolt out as far as you can....then twist the arm down so the bush moves and you should be able to get the bolt out.....fiddly but you can weasel it out! I use this method and saves loads of messing about!

DD- thanks for the info. I've contacted them direct, and they sent me to the UK guy. A kit that seems to be about £600 from them direct is £1400 via facebook guy. One of my cousins husband's is polish so may try and get him to speak to them direct... Wow, that's quite a difference in price! The g...

Re: Newbie's B1 Dasher Wagon Diesel.
Nice ride and a great price! As it's a facelift, you should find that Golf 2 lowering springs fit the front and the only springs that will fit the rear are Ford Sierra cosworth rears (dont know if you have them over there though...) Failing that, just do what everyone else does and cut the springs!
