Re: Headlights MOT failure - dirty projector?
My old Saab had this problem, reduced light output due to cloudy projector lenses (not the actual head lamp lens), some cloth on a bit of wire sorted it out.

Fan still running after engine switched off? 2.0 Tdi Cr.
So I went out to the shop, its raining and quite cool out side, temp gauge normal. I pulled into my drive and switched the car off. The cooling fan was still running, its been running for a while now. I take it the temp sensor for the fan or a relay has gone pear shaped?

The mechanics there know their way around VW's and should be able to get to the bottom of it for you. Are you in Ipsw...

Re: Estate tyre pressure?
Ive never had an estate car before, I guess its maybe because you may well find yourself loading the boot up on occasion and not able to adjust tyre pressure? My Saab Aero saloon was 35 front and 35 rear. I suppose like said above I should play it safe and go for 50 percent loaded so take minimum an...

Re: Estate tyre pressure?
So 36 front, 41 rear? That sounds about right to be honest.
As it is it does drive Ok and it grips really well too, even in the wet, but I don't want to be putting new tyres on it prematurely.

Re: Estate tyre pressure?
I think the previous owner read the sticker wrongly, it should be 37 front and 44 rear for my size of tyre according to the sticker.Ill upload a photo when photobucket gets its bum in gear.
