I had the EGR deleted because at the time I couldn't afford to have the EGR replaced so I know VW would use that against me.

So I am going to source another engine, turbo etc.
Does anyone know anyone in Stoke on Trent, or Cheshire area who could replace my engine?

Found out the problem, turbo has blown and travelled through the engine. Good bye engine

I'm getting it recovered to my mates garage today so hopefully find out. Funny thing is it had almost a full tank of fuel and now only reads 3/4 tank after 20 miles after filling up so fuel pump or fuel sender is ringing alarm bells.
