Thanks for your reply Chris. You're right about only driving short distances . I've only had the car 10 days and it's not had a decent run yet. It will be getting a good run on the motorway this weekend. Also, it's the first diesel I've had with a DPF.

Hi guys. I've joined the forum because I've just bought a B7 Estate. It's a 2013, 2.0TDI Highline Blue Motion Tech. So far I've been impressed by how smooth the engine is and the general build quality. I'm sure that I will have lots of questions to ask concerning B7s.
