Activate RNS315 Directions on HIGHLINE MFD?
Hi there. I fitted the RNS315 to my B6 Highline a fair while back and it works well with the newest maps etc installed. My question however is how can I get the direction instructions / arrows on the MFD? I'm sure I've seen this on the B6 models before. Is it something that I need to change in VCDS?...

Key Worker - Ambulance Crew TDI down
Hi folks. Here's a cracker. My wife's 58 plate Highline TDI lit up like a Christmas tree with Oil Pressure, Parking Brake, ABS, ESP and Glow Plug Lights all coming on leaving her stranded on the way to a backshift. Luckily, she got recovered and a colleague loaned her an A4. I put VagCom on the mach...

Re: Help Needed Please
Sounds like you're trying all the right things, but it's awful that a replacement MAF did the same thing. I'm just wondering if the system has a vacuum involved in its operation, in which case it could be a leak from a bad connection or perished hose. Anyway, I hope you get some answers.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: New B6 Owner in Scotland
Thanks David.
I've already wet vac'd the spare wheel well in addition to bending the front a little in what the yanks would call a "Fender Bender". I'll be getting to know it in more detail than I intended even sooner.

Re: I have Bought an RNS 315
A quick (related) question on this older thread...
… can someone advise the factory routings for both the GPS antenna and the Bluetooth microphone please? A search revealed only chat about the mic location i.e. in the courtesy light cluster.
Much appreciated.

Re: Which aftermarket RNS style for B6
The unit should not need coding as far as I can tell, but it WILL prompt you for the anti-theft code upon first power up. I believe that once it has been entered, the unit will recognise the car in future if the battery is disconnected etc.
Hope that helps.

New B6 Owner in Scotland
Hi folks. Greetings from Central Scotland! I've just become the owner of a well cared for B6 2.0 TDi CR Highline. I've looked after a MK4 Golf TDi (that's still going strong at over 200k) for many years now and a Polo TDi before that. My good lady has similar VW love, having owned a Polo TDi, Passat...
