Jack the offending side up and check the arms, mine was knocking from the top arms especially when you moved the wheel from left to right.

Re: De-chroming done this weekend

The tape I bought was 50mm wide, the hardest part was the trim in the C pillar, I tried to do it in one piece but was very difficult. Over the weekend I noticed that any joins have shrunk showing the chrome, this is why I'm plisti dippering it :D

Re: De-chroming done this weekend

Thanks for complement
There is room to tuck on the windows, the rest needs a steady hand.
Get insulation tape, I got 50mm wide stuff which was stretchy, a decent craft knife will help too

I'm gonna plasti dip cos I think it'll last betterer

Re: Vibration at 60mph

I had 17s, they had flat spots & vibrated like biatch.
I would get them checked, even though the vibration has gone, they will still potentially cause damage to the rear running gear.

Re: De-chroming anyone done it??

Got some wide black insulating tape, you may laugh but its £2 a roll which will do 10 cars
I know the corners on the c pillars might be difficult but I think it'll work, its sticky enough & stretchy.

I'll keep you posted & show the results.
