How Low ins your B5.5??

Gonna be getting coilovers (Joms) next month, just wondering how low you all are from stock height?
I don't want to be scraping the car on all the speedhumps but want it to be low, thinking approx 60-80mm

Images would be a help too.

What are they worth??

Just a feeler really 4 x RS4 reps 5 x 112 & 5 x 100 PCD with 18/40/225 Achiles tyres, done approx 1500 miles on tyres, sprayed satin black. The wheels run true & straight with no odd vibrations & all 4 centre caps but could do with a clean up. I could possibly PX for 17's but must have g...

Best quality Aerosol paint

I'm just spraying some bits in the garage, I have come to conclusion that Halfords paint is possibly the best available, Lovely smooth coverage no spits or farts. I got some from a local store Silver hook or something, jeez! the paint is OK just the cans are rubbish, they don't have nearly as much p...

Re: Awesome sale Euro Car Parts

I heeded the advise on here & swapped the 2 5l cans for 1 5l can of pd or 505.01 spec stuff
I agree it's not worth £25 of oil for a new injector pump!

Thanks for the heads up

Re: LOWER FRONT BOTTOM ARMS

Are you taking about the tapered part of the arm? Where the ball joint is? I had problems getting the bushing off cos when we knocked it out the cylindrical bush came with it, so had to spent ages trying to get it off, heat & a hammer sorted it only to find the 20mm ball joints should be 16mm, I...

Re: Vinyl wrappers?

The straight window rubbers are thick & sturdy, they prise off easily, the hard bit is trimming, Plasti dip looks good in a nice warm workshop probably very easy, you watch the how to's on You tube it looks a piece of fart but it ain't very easy to put too much on & takes ages to dry, don't ...

Re: plasti dip plasti poo mk2

Yes that was fine, it's recommended that a gap is left, then Simply peel off, some were fine but other bits came sway from chrome, I give up with it!!
FYI I do suggest using plasti dip not car dip as th plast dip peels off betterer.

Plastidip??? Plasti Sh!*

I got sucked in by the magical properties of plastidip, all was going well until you come to remove the masking tape :(( as I removed it it was clean then it would catch on some sprayed on to the chrome & tear across the chrome :-o so to cut a long story short we are staying chrome cos it's a wa...

You can buy a line out convertor, less than a tenner from E-bay. this takes the speaker signal & changes it to RCA for the the amp which then amplifies it & gives you nice boom tish bom boom tish \:D/ I would get a 200W 4 Channel amp & drive all four speakers from it, It's been a long ti...
