Right I removed the sticky cloth tape & visually checked for breaks in the wiring & with a multimeter & helper checked for continuity whilst opening/closing boot & flexing the loom & all worked fine. So can anyone help point me next where to look ?

Just an update for future ref. I had the dash warning light up for " check DRIVER side DRL" & neither side was working. Well I must admit, due to the shorter wiring available that side I hadn`t pushed the plug on till I heard the click did this & now have working DRL`S

Will try to have a look at that. I did recently replace the centre grill section, as a pheasant decided it wanted a ride with me. Really need to pull the wiring out both sides for boot lock as next priority job, since my lock/unlock function isn`t working. I believe it may be a broken wire somewhere...

Yes I did, but I think the bulb was also blown. Where was the break ? I will need to check on that. Would that stop both from working ?

As for changing the LED`S I just undone one Torx screw, on outer edge & unclipped the inner grill section of the drl near the centre grill & slid that towards the centre of the car completely out the way to access the bulbs.

Yes arrived all ok. I ordered two as it didn`t say they came as a pair so have got some spares too. I haven`t had time to fit them yet but will do it tonight.
