Fitted 312mm front discs this morning, only problem now is the caliper looks naff against the powder coated carriers, oh well, another job added to the list.

Ok I did some more research on heated seat wiring. Pin 2 in the Green connector under the seat is where I was getting just under 5v, this is connected to the temp sensor in the seat so it's not the pin I should have been checking for voltage input to the heating elements. The other pins gave no volt...

The mounting legs need to be swapped over which is fairly easy. I was going to fit the rear Recaro's too but it's not as easy as the fronts. They are a different shape where the wheel arch is and slightly wider too. I'll probably fit standard rear leathers but swap out the headrest to match the fron...

Yeah mk4 seats into a B5.5 is easier than I thought and vice versa.

I've got the driver side seat ready to drop in but in the meantime I replaced the armrest cover with leather. It looks Grey on the photo but it's Black, honest. Haha with brute force, think I was lucky to not have broken something. As said above there are clips but you need to know where they are and how they unclip.

I've taken some pics, will do a short write-up.

I've got it off but your explanation was a bit vague, sorry to say.

I need to remove the centre armrest lid on a B5.5, done a search on the net and it seams they are clipped in place so careful prising is the way to go. Anyone confirm this?

Changed the tandem pump this morning, horrible job!

Pleased to say I now have full vacuum again.

I've got this to do soon, I'm going to allow myself a morning to fit the looms, hope this helps.
