I've replaced most of the vac pipes aswell didn't make any difference but it smokes more than it used to and sounds like it's got a dump valve also I'm gonna take of the boost pipes and check them over didn't notice any splits or that on the car but could be a tiny one I've missed

I also have the same problem with my a4 right now not guts and considerably worse on fuel hopefully together we can get the problem sorted lol

recently lost the gears on my a4 1.9tdi quattro i believe its the selector and linkage as the previous owner said he bodged it up and never replaced it and 10k later gave up lol just wonder dose anyone now how to remove it i asked this on a Audi forum and didn't get any replies just wondering if any...

its just the standard radio from the factory its also got the cd player bit underneath if that would make any difference
