Reset the info for the mpg and see how that does then how long are your journeys?
Mines doing about 45mpg and I'm giving it a full service shortly and changing all the filters.

I'm just desperate to get them fitted so I can compare them against the Eibachs I had fitted to my saloon.

Re: yellow tinted fog lights

I fitted yellow tinted bulbs in my new fogs rather than putting a film on them.
I was looking at using lamin-x film on mine if I'd done them yellow.

Plus if they're off a '62 plate the most they can be is 6-8 months old as 62 plate is from Sept '12

I think you need an adaptor with a canbus adaptor as part of it or take the switched live from the cigarette lighter. Don't think it's anything to do with your ignition switch.

No there is no intermittent as such I have mine set right to the left and have made sure I've always kept the sensor area of the windscreen cleaned.

Re: Intermittent wiper setting has mind of its own!

If yours is a sport model same as mine do you have auto headlights on it if so you probably have auto wipers too. This makes the first position on the wiper stalk the on for the auto and the switch on the top adjusts the sensitivity of the rain sensor on the screen.

Re: what lowering springs for 2.0 tdi?

I fitted Eibachs to my saloon and although pricey the ride quality was better than the original springs. I am going to be fitting H&R springs to my wagon in the next few weeks. I've heard mixed reviews on the FK springs in regards to ride quality at the end of the day the choice is yours if you ...

Re: B6 speaker options

One of my front speakers has gone so I'm going to be changing them shortly. As I'll be fitting aftermarket speakers I've been told I need adapters to fit them. Where's the best place to get the adapters from?
All help and advice appreciated as usual.

It's not to hard a job to do. I did mine in my saloon no problems. I managed to get mine off a car that was breaking for spares but they do come up on ebay every so often.

Re: CC front fog lights

You can't turn your fog lights on with the headlight switch in the Auto position. You need to have it either turned to the parking light or dip beam position. Yeah I noticed that while playing with the switch. My problem is when I put the switch to sidelights or headlights, then pull for fogs, the ...

Re: Who knows what this is???

It goes across the top of your spare wheel to give added support to the carpeted part of the boot floor. Fits in little slots from the tool kit/jack towards the right side of the spare wheel well.

Don't leave the heated mirror switch in the on position all the time as if it does stay on it is the main contributing factor to the glass falling off s it makes the adhesive fail.

Re: B6 Sport Wagon R-Line lower grills fitted 05/04

I've now confused myself I thought my fog grills were r-line ones but I've just been parked next to an r-line estate in town and it had the same grills as my old ones.
So are these r-line or R36 grills? Now wish I'd had a chance of a better look at the car I got them off.
