If you can get hold of, put some dielectric greese on the connector! Makes a better and watertight contact!

I had the very same problem. Cam lobes worn on mine. Just check before you replace the loom needlessly!

When I changed mine, the originals were Beru. So i bought Beru again from GSF. I think I paid around £25 for the set.

I don't have vcds, but a mate of mine scanned it and said no fault codes! One of the lobes closer to the front bumper was kind of rough. Could not see the lifters! I haven't asked tps for a price but I bet it'll be stupid money. I don't want to spend £600 on parts alone. That's a third of the car's...

Ok folks. I had a misfire start 3 weeks ago. At first it was intermittent, then last week became permanent. Yesterday I changed the injector loom (genuine) but the misfire is still there. Is it camshaft time? I've seen some kits off fleabay for around £140, should I get one of them? Cheers.
