Corolla front seat replacment

I am looking at replacing the front drivers seat which includes an airbag on my sons 2004 Corolla as the seat adjustment mech is knacked.Are ther any precautions I should take ie do I need to disconnect the battery etc or is it safe to just unplug the electical connections under the seat ? Thanks
