right quick question, planning to buy a car this weekend for the other half birthday (that she doesn't know about). i've contacted the seller and he told me he has sorn the car a few days ago.
So my question is. When i purchase the car i should be given the green part of section 10 and i could take it to a post office along with the mot certificate. but do they need my proof of insurance?
Cause i was only planning to insure it for a day so i could drive the car back home . But my main concern is the log book (v5c) is going to be on her name and the insurance is going to be on my name just for the 1 the day. would the post office still let me tax the vehicle? when i had them the green section 10 with a females name?
