VW EOS lowering suspension

Post by dtr »

The EOS currently has H&R springs from golf R32 kit and a mix of struts in fairly bad shape. That's how I bought it and now it is worn out, at least the shocks and bearings are. I probably won't keep the car for very long - up to 2-3 months more - only because I'd like an SUV in its place.

I could think of a few options and I need feedback please:

1) Cheap ebay coils a) TIEF-TECH https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-EOS-COILO ... 2363300053 b) prosport https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Eos-1-6-2 ... 2192102622
2) Re-use springs and fit new TA-Technix https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-EOS-type- ... 2623690159
3) Re-use springs and fit something like Bilstein B4 or cheaper OE struts. I can't afford to spend more now.
4) SELL the car as is and let buyer install what they want.

I will also need help with front anti-roll bar and drop links. What can I fit since the car is lowered quite a lot? It has none at present!
