Sound deadening glass

Hi
First post from me.
I am an ireland member.
Currently driving a 2013 Octavia vRS Combi. prior to this I had 2 Hatch vRS Octavias.
I think it is time for a change so recently took a test drive in a Highline Passat 150. Really liked the car so have one spec'd up somewhat,
I would be interested in tickin the option for sound deadening glass.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
is it worth it?
Someone said to me it may affect the signal to my phone.
