I am just about to clock 12000 miles in 5 months, so how has the car been?
Bad points!
The usual software issues for the trip computer and mileage trip on the instrument panel.
The Touch screen froze quite a lot so it couldn't be used, but switching the car off and leaving it, then switching on again, it all came back to life.
I also suffer from the rattle type noise in the dash. The annoying thing is that VW only offer a 6 month or 6000 mile warranty against rattles!!!! So am am pursuing this further.
I have had a software upgrade which has sorted out the computer issues.
Other than this, she has been great! Not missed a beat!
The St Tropez Leather has also been easy to live with which good.
Finally, I finished the little changes to the front end this week, the chrome topped grill to match the chrome topped headlights. Kind of gives it the look of the LED equipped cars. I think it has worked well!
So all in all, very pleased with the car!
