Bloomin' hose pipe ban

I managed to finish early at work this morning and as the sky's were blue decided to give the passat some TLC so armed with a new watering can I washed it down then clayed it and set about getting a layer of polish on and then some wax and half way through the first coat of wax a light drizzle started and has stayed since. I'm hoping the weather is better tomorrow so I can finish it off and get some new pics taken.
How is everyone else keeping their cars cleaned with hosepipe bans in place I really begrudge having to pay to have it done by some drive in place who waste more water than I'd use.
