Alloy wheel and tyre insurance?

Hi there , i have just bought a b6 estate from a main dealer.The deal was a good one for me but i also got a £299 alloy wheel and tyre accidental damage insurance thrown in for free.I can claim for 10 alloy wheel refurbs,upto £100 each time, for accidental damage(curbing etc) and 5 tyres upto £100 each (or the first £100 of the price), for punctures etc.This is over a 3 year period.Has anyone else got this and made a claim?.Do they wee about or pay out no problems?.Thanks
