B5 ABS Fault Help!

Post by madmerv »

Just re-built front suspension after gettting two wheel bearings changed. I'd take the ABS sensor out and refitted as per haynes manual. Any way ABS light came on so i pushed the sensors further in thinking maybe the weren't in secure, took car for spin and ABS light went out. Success thinks me :D .Well no :( now when i brake at slow speed (under 25) i get a very strange sound and what feels like the abs kicking in, kind of a judder effect. Also i'd changed back brakes but i've checked everything and can't find ought wrong. Is this normal? I don't want to slam on the anchors cause of the new rear brakes.

Any thoughts or advice :)
